Kenyan shilling stronger on inflows from offshore investors

NAIROBI (Reuters) – The Kenyan shilling strengthened against the dollar on Monday, with foreign exchnage inflows from offshore investors outweighing oil importer demand, traders said.

At 0835 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 102.55/75 to the dollar, compared with 102.70/90 at Friday’s close.
