BUHARI MAY NOT BE MY IDEAL PRESIDENT FOR NIGERIA, BUT I WOULD’N’T PRAY PSALM 1O9:8 FOR HIM
Someone sent this story to my wathsapp and I decided to post it as it was sent to me.
“Car in front of me had a bumper sticker on it that reads: “PRAY FOR BUHARI” psalm 109:8
When I got home I opened my Bible to the scripture, read it and started laughing.
Psalm 109:8-” Let his days be few and brief and let others step forward and replace him.
~ Nigerians are thoughtful”.
That is the end of the post sent to my WhatsApp, and the following is my thought on it
I believe that in life no man is difficult for God to change for good, President Buhari inclusive. As for me, except this prayer is for God to touch President Buhari to either change for good and bring positive change to Nigerians or for him to resign and let a more creative and productive person step in and save Nigeria and salvage our economy.
I am not a party to this prayer, and will never say amen to it. Members of The Balanced Church know that I have called for prayer severally against any thing that will lead to the death of the president.
President Buhari is not my ideal president for Nigeria, yes, but I don’t wish him death. I don’t think it is a good thing to wish your enemies death. God is not happy over the death of a sinner Ezek.18:23.
All I write about this administration are with the genuine and good intentions for this administration to repent from their propaganda, embrace the truth and help the suffering masses of our people.
I begrudge no one.
Those who wish Buhari or their other enemies death forget that what goes round comes around. Moreover, there is no guarantee that the death of your enemy will guarantee you a turn of Fortune or positive change. Many have witnessed the death of their enemies, yet their lives did not get better.
The truth, which I have learnt from the scriptures, divine inspiration and experience is that if your life is pleasing to the Lord, He would protect you against your enemies and even make them to be at peace with you. Does my child need to beg me to protect and defend him against an aggressor?
The answer is no, so God is committed to the defense and protection of His children. Number two is that as a child of God, God will kill any of your enemy who deserves to die for daring to touch you as His anointed, whether you pray for the person’s death or not.
In fact, you are not even praying for the death of your worst enemy and treat to your life, that’s because you don’t see them for who they really are. They are among those you call friends and family members. But when their time is up and cup full Jehovah who sees what you don’t see and knows what you don’t know will kill them, because they deserve to die , for making themselves a trouble to you.
King Saul made David go through worst kinds of trouble, yet David never prayed for his death nor plotted evil against him, but despite all the love and respect David showed to King Saul, God still killed him. I want to assure you that without praying for the death of those who trouble you and this nation Nigeria, God in His wisdom shall deal with the situation in due time. Don’t make yourself guilty of anyone’s blood.
To forgive those who offended you doesn’t mean that God has forgiven them or forgotten their sins if they fail to repent of their own sins. The reason why you forgive your offenders is so that God can forgive you your own sins.
The same thing is applicable to praying for the death of your enemies. What those who pray for the death of their enemies don’t know is that they bring judgement upon themselves, by asking God to another for their sins against you is a covert way of asking God to kill you for your sins against others. Would you want God to kill you for your own sins and offence against others? Please answer.
Instead of praying against President Buhari, pray for Nigeria instead and let God’s wish be done.
Instead of praying against your enemies, pray for yourself, and let God’s will be done in your life. This lines are coded, and only the sound will understand it.
