Nigerian actor, Alhaji Kasimu Yero, has passed away.
He died at his house in Kaduna after a protracted illness.
His son, Masur Yero, confirmed the death on Sunday.
Yero was buried in Magajin Gari, Zaria in Kaduna sate at 2pm according to Islamic rites.
His colleagues in the Hausa Film Industry described as an equivalent to Hollywood’s Clark Gable.
Kasimu Yero made his name playing iconic characters, mainly villains, in TV series or films.
